As a musician it is very inspirational to listen to the wonderful instrumentations. The only low point for me is the vocalist, he is very unimaginative and monotonous, even for brutal death metal. Without him, I wouldn't even consider Epitaph to be a death metal album. The guitar tones aren't super heavy, rather they are very pleasing to the ear and also very precise. Mohammed is a brilliant guitarist and has written some really juicy songs here. If you are a guitarist, a fan of melodic tech metal, or even just of complex music, then you owe it to yourself to check this album out.
