I first ordered from a different vendor who said "Copper Wire" in the listing but it was actually copper-clad aluminum, which was stiff and bulky with a higher resistance. Sent it back and ordered this one, which I am very happy with. The jacket is high-quality silicone and between that and the many tiny strands of real copper wire this cable is super-flexible (floppy even). The silicone resists soldering temperatures without burning, melting, or shrinking back from the end. The wires are tinned over copper so they look like aluminum but they are definitely copper under the tin. Only about 0.3 ohms over the full 50 feet so great for high-current loads. Would definitely buy again.

Very soft and flexible, and wires are easy to separate when needed, it almost feels like licorice. Marine grade wire is generally easy to work with and durable in humid or salty environments. I've used half the roll and have soldered it, crimped it, cut it, used wire terminals, and it has held up great. Good wire is always a bit pricey, but this was worth it.

I had not used silicone insulated wire in a long time, so it was a shock to have wire that was so flexible. I planned to add a connector on one end and terminate the other in a solar power controller and stuff the whole thing in a small portable box. The flexible wire was perfect! The only drawback is the red and black wire separate easily, so I put some shrink tubing near the end to keep to duplex together, Worked fine. I would highly recommend this wire. I noticed that other similar looking wire on the website was not copper, but copper coated aluminum. Thus, the higher cost of this product compared to similar looking wire.
