Does not work with RedTiger dash cam. This review is informational only. I bought it because one of the pieces from the redtiger set keeps falling out of the fuse box (fuse portion too short). On these everything appears perfect except the end piece that attaches to the red tiger dashcam set is too small and does not work. I even tried removing the end piece from a redtiger (of a different fuse type) but the redtiger attachment breaks off and can't be re-used. Wish it did.

Tap fuse wire works (so far), being using it for 2 weeks. They have the right dimensions for low profile mini fuses, but the 5amp fuses that it comes with it they seems to be not good grade, they all have wrong dimensions to fit in these tap fuse wires. So what I did I bought from eBay, whole box of fuses varying from 5A-30A for good price and they comes with wrong dimensions as well. To make it work you have to polish the fuses down so they can fit right. I rubbed it against rough floor few times 3 sides of it and it fitted great. P.s. the fuses that your car/truck already have in there they will fit right away in these wires, it's only new fuses they need to be rubbed down. They working fine so far, if something happens (& they are the cause) I will update.

The fuse taps themselves are built nicely, with thick wires and heat shrink. Installation was pretty straightforward--all you need to do is crimp your wire to the blue connector on the end. Then, put the fuse you're replacing in the bottom slot and the new one on top. Speaking of fuses, the ones they sent me were the wrong size! They look like Mini-LP fuses, and have all the features of Mini-LP fuses, but they just flat-out won't fit in an Mini-LP fuse holder. The blade contacts are about 1mm too wide. They will fit after lots of poking, prying, and pushing, but good luck getting them back out without destroying either the fuse or the holder. You're probably better off getting fuses from a more reliable vendor anyways. Overall, the fuse taps themselves are pretty good--they're just a fuse holder and a bit of wire, so nothing much to go wrong there, and they look nice and sturdy. Be sure you have plenty of fuses already, or you'll have to go buy some, because the ones they give you don't fit.

Compre los tap para conectar un dashcam para que pueda grabar en impacto o movimiento cuando el carro está apagado. El plan original era usar el clamp que viene para juntar el tap con el arnés de dashcam, pero el cable que salía del arnés del dashcam estaba muy delgadito y se salía, mejor lo corte y los soldé juntos. A partir de ahí todo bien, cupo bien en la caja de fusibles y como en mi carro los fusibles se montan mirando para el piso, debajo del tablero, no he tenido problema de que se intente salir o que este flojo después de 4 o 5 meses ya instalado

I was searching for a quality fuse tap that would fit snug into my fuse box. This brand came with a good review from youtube and I was not disappointed. It fit snug into my Toyota and the crimps worked perfectly to hold the connecting wire tight.
