The bag was totally sealed, the apricots were soft and flavorful, and they arrived quickly. I used these apricots to make baby food for my daughter and WHOA it yielded so much food! Plain apricot puree was one of my favorites as a kiddo but it's become a lot harder to find over the years, so I decided to make my own.To make the baby food, I ran hot water into a large bowl and soaked 1 lb of apricots overnight, stirring two or three times when I got up for MOTN feedings. I added the apricots to a steam basket and poured the soaking water into the pot, steamed the apricots for about 15-20 minutes, and then poured the 'cots and some of the soaking water into my Vitamix. Pureed for 25 seconds and voila! The absolute BEST apricot baby food I have ever tasted!
