Temperatures, speed, flow, lights, and fans are all all on the display.There are even options to pause or stop and save the print.When pausing the print you're giving the option of changing the filament which works very well.The printing time is fast thanks to the direct drive extruder and the quality is amazing due to such a sturdy enclosure.Right out of the box the default profile for ABS, PLA, TPU, and PETG were producing excellent results.Having a textured build plate improves the first layer adhesion significantly with all materials, I just flex it when the print has finished and it pops off.Due to the enclosure and TMC2209 drivers it is unbelievably quiet in my workshop.CUSTOMER SUPPORT-I contacted customer support several times on different occasions and each time I received a speedy response with accurate answers to my questions.Whenever I had a problem they did not stop emailing me until we fixed it, they even created video guides to help me further.I mainly talked to May on their customer service email and it was a pleasant experience every time.I wish I could rate the customer service a full 10 stars, they went above and beyond to help me.ADDITIONAL NOTES-I have been using the X-Maker for almost 3 months now and I could NOT be happier with my purchase.Overall, the whole experience has been fantastic.If you're looking for a 3d printer that works perfectly out of the box then I highly recommend this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Very impressed with this printer. This is the perfect printer for someone who wants to pay a little extra for some pro-level features and user-friendly operation, but not overpay for those benefits.This is a surprisingly quiet printer with a built-in camera for remote monitoring, WiFi printing, direct ethernet cable printing, direct USB (Win & Mac) printing via the QIDIprint software, USB flash drive printing, a flexible magnetic build plate, active air filtration, color touchscreen, and LED lighting with touchscreen On/Off control, breakpoint/resume printing with filament run-out detection, Flex/TPU filament printing, and a few other advanced features.We just received this printer today, and I recorded an unboxing video while setting it up, which I hope to have on Youtube soon (search for "QIDI X-Maker Unboxing"). This is our 6th 3D printer, and our 4th printer from QIDI. From the time I started opening the box to starting the first print was about 30 minutes. The first print (using the included red PLA filament and the test file pre-loaded on the flash drive) turned out perfectly, and the flexible magnetic build plate made part removal very easy.Having previously set up three QIDI printers, I expected it to be a smooth process. But the build quality, user-friendly setup, and overall features made this the best printer I've worked with so far. Also, it's a very attractive piece of equipment to look at (almost looks like a wine refrigerator), and something I actually want to put on my desk. I plan to make this my desktop prototyping and development printer.This printer is too new to require any tech support, but in the past, I've found QIDI support to be great to work with. I recently needed to replace a failed component, and the process of getting a replacement was much faster and less expensive than I expected.Additional notes:I did not find the X-Maker's WiFi setup to be entirely intuitive, because you must click on the text entry field to the right of the "router" icon (not the icon, itself) in order to pull up the list of available wireless networks. If you have any difficulty with this, view the video supplied on the USB flash drive (8. LAN print, then WIFI Printing.mp4) to see this process. Once I knew where to press on the touch screen, it was a breeze. Similarly, setting up the WiFi camera using the 3rd-party app (iOS & Android) requires a few steps, so I would suggest first viewing the video on the flash drive, which explains the process better than is possible in the printed documentation. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great 3D printer.
