Product Description The nuclear-powered Enterprise is the first aircraft carrier of its kind and counts among the largest vessels ever built. The gigantic aircraft was put into service on 25.11.1961. Eight water-cooled reactors generate a total power output of 300,000 HP with which the vessels achieves an average speed of 35 knots. She displaces 75,700 tons. The aircraft deck measures 76.8 m in width. On average there are 414 officers and 4260 crew on board. Since her nuclear power system makes the Enterprise independent of external supplies, it was possible to provide large fuel depots for the ship's aircraft. The largest and most modern aircraft of the US Navy can be operated from the Enterprise. From the Manufacturer The U.S.S. Enterprise was the first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier and is among the largest vessels ever built. The gigantic aircraft carrier was commissioned on 11/25/1961 and is still in service today.

Review: Nice Model - The paint diagram was a great help.I used some small painters tape to do the stripes on the deck which came out really well.Just the right amount of planes.Did not over crowd the deck.I am doing a DDG now but the pieces are really small and it will take some time to finish.Since I am retired I can really take my time.I really enjoyed building the Enterprise.

**Q: do you need paint**
A: YES it's in grey plastic you will need to paint.

**Q: What paint and glue should I use?  Is there a recommended type?**
A: Hi, Any of the Revell Acrylic or Enamel paint would be suitable and any of the Revell plastic glue.

A: About 4 1/2 inches at widest

**Q: Are the elevators positionable?**
A: They are and should be, although I accidentally glued them closed. So yes.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice kit for the money

I thought this was a nice kit for the money. It is a vietnam era version of the Enterprise though and not modern day. The scale is not bad but much smaller than the 1/350 scale that Tamiya and many other companys have. I bought mine used and of course you take chances when you do that therefore I was not surprised to find out that the decals were missing. However painting all the deck strips and numbers, although a little challenging,made the kit alot more fun, and considering I paid $12.00 for the kit instead of $150.00 for the Tamiya kit, I was overall pleased with the purchase. If anyone knows where I can find a 1/350 scale WW2 version of the Enterprise or any other WW2 carrier for that matter please comment on this review and I will get an e-mail. Thanks
