M185 Wireless Mouse, 2.4GHz with USB Mini Receiver, 12-Month Battery Life, 1000 DPI Optical Tracking, Ambidextrous, Compatible with PC, Mac, Laptop - Swift Grey

My order arrived without the USB mini receiver (aka dongle) so there is absolutely no way to connect it. In addition, it is noticeably cheaply made and very light weight. My present logitech mouse is very solid and reliable. It has sustained several years of my slamming it down when the computer isn't working properly (not the mouse's fault but I had to take it out on something). I recommend looking for a better, well-made mouse and this is not it!

I'm so incredibly disappointed. Out of the box, the mouse was great - I had no issues with the size, the buttons, the scroll wheel, or any of that. For me, it was comfortable. And I loved the wireless aspect, as being able to easily move the mouse to my left or right hand helped a bit with ergonomics. At about the one year mark, I started to (intermittently) not be able to control the cursor on the screen... no problem. I swapped out the batteries, and everything worked well for a week or two, when I started to have the same issue. I tried another set of batteries, thinking maybe the ones that I had were old, but no luck. I think the mouse is dead, after about one year. That's just ridiculous. I've had wired mouses that last *forever*. I was completely prepared for needing to change out the batteries, but having the whole thing just become useless after a year was, again, a huge disappointment and has really made me lose trust in Logitech. For now, I'm back to using an old wired mouse that I still had.

I'm sure this will be the last Logitech mouse I'll buy. They were great, some few years ago, but the two before this one failed within a year due to software issues; and M185 I got was a total failure right out of the package. Now truth be told, I wasn't expecting all that much for a sub-fifteen dollar mouse; but this one was dead on arrival for starters; but even so, the build quality left a much to be desired. The M185 turns out to be a small mouse, about a third smaller then the one it was to replace, it is also very light and had a cheap plastic feel to it, like I'm not sure it would survive long under regular use and abuse. The AA battery did not fit properly as either the end cap spring was too short or the battery compartment was too long, so no power to the device no matter how much jiggling was done. So, all in all, this particular example was a cheap, non-functioning piece of garbage, that even if it worked I would had returned due to it being sized to fit the hands of a five year old. So, goodbye Logitech; you were great once, but not any longer.

These used to be a good model, but now after buying one and then a replacement, they're all bad at tracking and clicking. Clicks suddenly turn into double clicks or press and hold clicks suddenly let go as you're dragging your cursor to select things.

First time did not come with USB dongle, nor did the mouse even turn on. Amazon rushed a replacement for the mouse and it came quickly, same day and the mouse did not turn on and it also did not come with USB dongle. Insisted on getting my money back without returning both of them and they honored that due to the waste of time on defective product. This I'm sure is not a reflection on Logitech. It's a reflection on Amazon for recycling returned items to unsuspecting purchasers. The pushback to send the garbage back was strong but Amazon finally gave in after more wasted time that returning it was a lost cause for me, Amazon, and the public.

I hate that I'm leaving a 1-Star Review on this as I love Logitech (Logi) and will continue to use their mice and keyboards. The issue I had with the mouse I just received (and worked with Logitech Support to confirm) is that it is paired directly to the dongle and can NOT be paired to a different dongle. Additionally, this dongle can NOT have other devices paired to it. It does NOT appear in the Connect Utility or Unifying Software or Connect Web or Options+. You can tell by looking at the model CU0019 of the Dongle. It'll state this on the bottom of the box or on the dongle itself. According to the Logitech Support, CU0019 is an old model. Bolt is the newest model and supports up to 6 devices at the same time. So, if you only need 1 mouse and NO other devices to connect, then you're fine. However, if you want to have your Keyboard and Mouse connect to the same dongle, shop elsewhere. Note: Receiver and Dongle are the same thing when speaking with Logitech Support.

This is my favorite mouse model and style. I like the light weight and the way it fits my hand, so I have purchased several of this same model. All my previous ones said Logitech. The last couple said "Logi" on them instead of Logitech. I wondered if I was being ripped off with a fake Logitech mouse but I read where this is just a rebranding for Logitech. I'm wondering if the rebranding also meant reduction in quality. I only had the red one about 2 months when it suddenly died. I tried everything I knew to get it going again because I couldn't believe it would just die like that within 2 months with no warning. Replaced batteries, switched receivers, tried in different laptop. It was just dead. I've never had a mouse die this quickly. For the price I don't expect these to last 10 years but I would think it should last more than 2 months! Was outside the return window so not much I can do. I still like this mouse. I've tried others that just don't fit my hand that well. I'll probably buy another one but if this one dies too I'll switch brands.

I received this mouse and it worked fine for 2 months. Now it does nothing. I tried 5 new batteries that work in other devices. The on/off switch appears to be intact. It's not even good as a paperweight as I may grab it expecting it to work at some point.
