This cd drive is very quick and convenient to use if you have to do anything with CD’s. I had some issues with my software itself and decided to return as I have no use for it. It’s also not bulky and can be stored conveniently. Easy to connect and stays powered on as long as it’s plugged into your device. Price is great and cord isn’t that long and tucks under which is also a plus; never seen that before.

The first truly functional inexpensive Chinese drive I found that works Testing several of the inexpensive Dries found on Amazon and other sites I typically found portable CD players that would successfully read and rip audio CDS but this is the only one I found that could actually successfully write or burn a CD while plugged directly into the port of the computer a couple of the others would burn successfully if they were run from a powered USB hub but this one is the only one of the cheap ones that I bought that actually completes a burning process that gets it 4 stars the only thing that keeps it from being five stars is the very flimsy plastic housing construction typical of these class of drive that makes handling the CD tray and the C DS themselves a bit fiddly at the risk of breaking the drive or misalignment of the disk disk In summary if you really want to go with the cheapest drive you can find with a reasonable insurance that it will not only read but also write this is my recommendation

Just what I needed. I needed to put all my embroidery files on my newer laptop. This drive worked great with it and I was able to get everything installed. It's truly plug and play.

It is so easy to use plus it's small and compact

As a 2000s kid who grew up playing Zoo Tycoon, Zuma Deluxe, Roller Coaster Tycoon, and more I have been looking for a way to break back into these games and I finally found a way. Pros: - The CD reader plugged right into the side of my computer in the USB drive. There is an additional attachment on it that connects to the USB to allow for USB-C plug ins. - The player allowed me to play the computer games with no issues. - The player read the games quickly and didn’t struggle if it was bumped as the old Walkman players did. - you don’t have to install any applications to use the player Cons: - inserting the disk is difficult if you don’t push in at the perfect angle. So you have to lift up or push down a bit to get it just right - the cord attached to it is very short, so playing with it attached to my laptop is a little difficult

Works on my windows 11 but it doesn’t seem to carry over the titles of song list when downloading the cd to my laptop. Not sure why yet. It doesn’t seem to work correctly on my new windows 11. Didn’t have this problem on my windows 8.1. It transfered cd title and the playlist info with no problem

Exactly as described and worked perfectly right out of the box. I was genuinely surprised by the excellent build quality, especially considering the low price. It feels well-made, is easy to use, and performs exactly as expected. Despite it says on the box that it works with Linux OS, it does not! There is an email in the manual and the answer I got when I asked for an installing driver for the latest LTS release of Linux was: "Hi, Sorry for not being able to reply you earlier. Having sent your issue to our technical team, we were told this external drive doesn't support Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS. It work fine with Mac and windows system. Sorry for the inconvenience and sincerely thank you for your understanding and patience. Best regards" This is why I gave this item the minimum score for portability. As for easy to use, I think the cable could be a bit longer, because when I'm home I use a platform to elevate my notebook, so the screen is horizontally aligned to my eyesight. I am going to test the drive with Windows, but that is going to be a pain in the neck to keep switching between OS just because of it.

Je l'ai branché sur mon ''laptop'' car celui-ci n'a pas de lecteur CD/DVD intégré. Globalement, je suis satisfait du résultat. Bon rapport qualité-prix.
