Fogger Ground

This appears to be the reason I have been spending hours today, looking for a low-lying fog machine. The reason is this: I bought this little gem at a Spirit Halloween shop in my home town. I also bought their fog juice. When I got the machine home I tried it out immediately. To be honest, I was amazed at how perfectly it worked. You just poured in the juice, added ice to the ice chamber, and turned it on. My front yard was soon covered in a perfect low-lying cloud of fog. Who could be happier? Then I cleaned it, according to the directions with a solution of white vinegar and water. Later--when it was dark--I wanted to see what it looked like at night (when the Trick-or-Treaters would come to my graveyard--my decorated front yard, that was). I poured in the juice, added the ice and waited for the warm-up and the expected fog. Nothing! Well, I got a humming noise, but no fog.The next day, I returned the unit to the Spirit Halloween store and they were very nice, giving me a new one. I took it home, tried it out. The fog was beautiful! However, that night I tried it out again--and NO fog!The next day, I took it back to the nice people at Spirit Halloween and they tried it out. Nada! So they cheerfully refunded my money for the machine--as well as, the juice (since I had no need for it).Don't get me wrong, I am not down on Spirit Halloween in the least. They were fantastic. But this review is about an inferior item they sell. Unless they have improved on the model shown in this ad, don't even think of buying it.
