Mellanni Iconic 4-Piece, Ultra Soft Sheet Set (Queen, Black)

These sheets are one heck of a bargain! I'm not going to lie- I was skeptical when I saw the price when I ordered them, but my great dane managed to tear one of my other sets, and well, desperate times call for desperate measures. I found myself on Amazon- just like you are now, reading reviews, trying to save a few bucks, but not ending up with the crappiest sheets ever made- the Internet can be terrifying like that (I've been scorned, can you tell? ). Then I stumbled across these... the Mellanni Bed Sheet Set, and I was SURE I had read the price wrong or that there was some 'catch'. Less than $20 for an ENTIRE sheet SET for my Queen size bed... with mostly positive reviews?? I've paid more than that for 2 pillow cases! There were a large selection of colors to choose from (I went with the dark brown to go with the hand made quilt on my bed).... still less than $20 for the sheet set- no catch yet. Checked out, paid for, now we wait... 2 days later my precious cargo arrived. After I ripped that package open like a kid on Christmas, I looked and inspected my new sheets for something, ANYTHING, to be wrong with them. I got nothing! Now, you should know, these ARE a thin sheet- you can practically see through them if you hold them up to the light- but don't let that discourage you. The 'sleep test': I put these suckers on my bed for the TRUE test of any sheet, and oh my... they are fantastic! They are soft. It's like coming home after a long, yucky day at work, and all you want is to crawl your sorry self into bed for the night, and your sheets GIVE YOU A HUG all through the night. But they are breathable, so you aren't sweating like crazy. Ah-May-Zing! They also wash nicely, they come out soft- but not 'flannel soft', and they fold up neatly (except for the fitted sheet- only because I don't know how to do that- seriously, WHO EVEN KNOWS HOW TO FOLD A FITTED SHEET?!??) Would I buy these again? If you even have to guess, then I need to work my my writing skills, because it's absolutely a 'YES' from me! These sheets are honestly one of the best bargains I've ever found online. Less than $20 for a Queen size sheet SET that isn't total crap.... I'm in!

I’ve been using the Mellanni Iconic 4-Piece Sheet Set for several nights, and I’m very pleased with the overall quality. The sheets are exceptionally soft right out of the package and became even more comfortable after the first wash. They fit my mattress well, with the fitted sheet staying securely in place throughout the night. The fabric feels lightweight and breathable, making for a comfortable sleep without feeling too warm. I also appreciate that they resist wrinkling and maintain a neat appearance after washing. The stitching appears well done, and the material has held up nicely with no loose threads or noticeable pilling so far. While they don’t have the crisp feel of cotton percale, they offer a smooth, cozy feel that many people will enjoy. Overall, this sheet set delivers excellent comfort, an attractive look, and great value for the price. If you’re looking for soft, easy-care sheets that are comfortable for everyday use, these are an excellent choice.

Update: Changed from 1 star to 5. Here's why: I finally got ahold of the company (I think I had the wrong contact info) & they responded almost immediately from that email. They sent over new sheets very quickly. So they have lived up to their "Mellanni Lifetime Promise" & it is appreciated. Now on to the quality of the sheets. Idk how to explain it but when you lay the flat sheet down and try to pull it more to one side, it feels like the other side is already tucked in. It's weird. Not bad at all - just weird. The sheets are smooth but not silky. That said, these are currently my favorite sheets. I recently bought 3 or 4 new sheets to find "the one" and so far, these are the best. I usually sleep warm but I don't find myself soaked in sweat with these. I have pets who sleep with me & that means their hair is everywhere. With these sheets, I don't feel every. single. hair. It's frigging amazing. These sheets are extremely soft. I havent noticed any changed in texture from washing them. My cat has gotten his claw snagged, which sucks but I'm used to it. I am definitely going to buy another set of these in a different color. I have already recommended them to my brother & he has bought them for himself & likes it as well. He said that he likes the pockets on the fitted sheet since he doesn't usually use the flat sheet. Older review: Pros: • Soft sheets. • Beautiful color/print. Cons: • The pockets are on the fitted sheet. • Two holes in the flat sheet. (See photos) • Flat sheet was a QUEEN instead of CalKing. (See photos) • Doesn't live up to the "Mellanni Lifetime Promise" (if you are not satisfied with your purchase at any point, for any reason, you can return it with no questions asked. That's the Mellanni promise...you don't even have to send back the product.) I ordered cal king sheets. We unfortunately didn't check them before throwing them into the washer & didnt see the issues until it was too late. As soon as we took the sheets out of the package, we loved how they felt. So so soft. We were very excited to put these on our bed. I cant talk about how well they are while sleeping though. I did know ahead of time that the pockets were on the fitted sheet but I am mentioning it because well, we would have liked them on the flat sheet instead. Amyways, we would have been happy with them regardless but as we were making the bed, I noticed a hole in the flat sheet. My fiancé thought it was small enough to ignore so we continue trying to make the bed. He kept pulling the sheet all the way to his side & not leaving me any to tuck in on my side. We went back & forth until I realized something wasn't right. I decided to look at the tag and saw it said QUEEN. What?! How did we get a queen flat & CalKing fitted sheet? At this point, doesnt matter about the hole or the pockets, we can't keep it. I decided to look at the sheets more closely and noticed another hole. The problem is we ordered these sheets before the fires in CA. And then the fires got too close to our home for comfort. So the sheets got ignored and forgotten for a few weeks. It wasn't until we knew we were safe & didn't have to evacuate that we remembered the fresh & clean sheets we washed. But it was too late to return through Amazon. I decided to email the company before leaving a review because it seems like an easy fix - it wasn’t like we don't like the sheets because they sleep hot or some other reason (we don't know either way at this point), plus I saw their "promise". Well, we still haven't heard back from the company a few weeks later. I didnt want to leave a bad review but I feel that will be the only way to get their attention since they havent replied to my email. We have bought other sheets since then that we like. My fiancé would rather us get our money back. I would honestly be happy to get a new set to try but I believe we should definitely get a refund since we did not get the sheets we paid for. I Just thought about: I do wonder how well the sheets hold up seeing as there were two holes in the ones we received. Either these were well-used sheets by someone else or they wear easily.

These sheets are so soft and comfortable and make getting out of bed on the morning very difficult. The color is as pictured. The sheets feel like good quality and have extra deep corner pockets so I'm not struggling to fit it over the mattress. Will definitely be purchasing more sets.

Updated review at end. I checked sheets out of the package. No issues. Tossed them into washer, following the manufacturer instructions for temperature and cleaning. Took the sheets out of dryer and EVERYWHERE that my fabric softener touched, left a stain. 😳 I want sheets that can hold their color if something “touches” them. I went ahead and made the bed with the sheets, because I had tossed the packaging that morning (trash day) the top sheet had most of the stains so they were not as visible on bottom sheet. And the bottom sheet fit my huge king bed so perfectly in the corners I was willing to put up with some fabric softener stains. BUT the freaking top sheet seems to be made for a smaller bed? It’s king size but where the fitted sheet FIT perfectly, the top sheet was way too long at the bottom of a standard king and way too short on each side to tuck in. I was determined to see how these sheets got this many amazing reviews- so I slept on them last night. Let me say, the bottom sheet, that didn’t stain with fabric softener and actually fit the king bed, felt like I was sleeping on soft butter. Absolutely the most comfy BOTTOM sheet I have ever used. The top sheet absolutely SUCKS! Not only did it stain with one wash with downy, it doesn’t fit the sides of the bed the way the fitted sheet does, it slips and slides all over while trying to sleep. It’s awful. Worst top sheet ever ever ever! But the worst sheet ever comes packaged with the best fitting and feeling fitted sheet I’ve ever had. But paying 40 dollars for a fitted sheet isn’t worth it. Because that’s all I’ll be using of this set. I went back to other reviews and wish I had saw them first- many many issues with stains on sheet from simply washing and top sheet issues are all in these reviews. Sad because if they can make a bottom sheet so well, the top sheet could be just as perfect Edit. I was contacted by the seller after this review. I sent them pictures of the stain marks on the sheet and explained the problem with the fitted sheet. It’s been forever since any company that I’ve dealt with has done so much to make a purchase RIGHT. They explained what they believed may have happened, then sent me a replacement set of the same sheets. They arrived the next day! The replacement set was everything that I had hoped the sheets would be. I’m extremely satisfied. But more importantly was the way they reached out and handled the issue. As a customer today who tends to do a lot of research prior to purchasing, having a company stand behind their product speaks volumes to me. I’ll be ordering another set of these sheets in a different color and for other beds in our home as well. Their customer service made a loyal customer out of me. You don’t see that much anymore and it was appreciated

Excellent quality! I have had this set - Queen/purple x's 4 years. I occasionally alternate with another sheet set, but most of the time I wash them and put them back on the bed. My matress is thick and they fit very well. They are still in great shape, comfortable and never lost their color.

So for years my boyfriend has always liked “jersey sheets” or “tee shirt” sheets or sheets made of flannel. He says he doesn’t like the feeling of cold “silky” feeling sheets as he’s always cold. I’m opposite and am always hot, and anytime we stayed in a nice hotel I looked forward to being able to sleep on cooler, taught, soft sheets for a couple of nights. I was able to deal with our old sheets but the issue we both hated was after awhile any sheet we got would get pilling. We even splurged and got a $60 flannel sheet which did the same thing forcing me to shave off these little annoying fuzz balls that make it feels like there is thousands of crumbs on the sheets. I also would wash our bedding once a week because the Jersey sheets seemed to “grow” as we move around in bed making it so the sheet was not taught and super annoying to lay on. The day I would wash them they would be comfortable but ultimately by the end of the week they would be almost hanging off our mattress. I ordered these sheets on a whim and got them the same day and immediately just threw out the jersey sheet and put this on (I didn’t even wash it, I know it’s gross but I was desperate for a comfy nights sleep and they came around 8pm) when I put them on I realized how soft and comfortable they felt. I also liked how the pillow cases are larger than most pillow cases that I have had in the past. We’ve been using these sheets for about a week and I love how I don’t wake up with my pillow popping out of the case anymore. The sheets have loosed ever so slightly since a week of sleeping but still are really taught and comfortable. They are cooler than flannel or fabric sheets and are initially cold when you first lay on them but I wouldn’t consider them “cooling” but they keep me from feeing extremely hot. They are way better than I ever would have expected for the price. I look forward to laying on them at the end of each day, even my boyfriend laid in bed the day I got them and said “wow I didn’t think I would like sheets like this, these are so soft!” And fell asleep immediately. We ended up ordering a second set in grey and the color is pretty. I still have yet to wash them, I usually use 2 tide pods when washing the bedding but I might get some fabric softener (as I hear it helps with pilling) to prevent the possibility of having that happen to these sheets in the future. I am hoping they hold up well after the wash and longer use. If they start to pill after wash, I will come back and update my review. Until then, I would highly recommend these sheets for the quality and the price point that they are offered at. Honestly, at this point even if they pill months from now I probably wouldn’t even be upset as long as they stay the same price I would just buy another set as they are just that comfortable and soft. UPDATE: So it has been about 3 months since I have purchase and used these sheets. They are still as soft as the day I first put them on. I’ve been washing them bi-weekly along with my comforter and pillowcases. I wash them with warm water using a combination of tide pods and added Downy fabric softener. They say to hang dry them in the description but I have been putting them in the dryer on medium and have been taking them out after around 20-25 minutes, they seem to dry extremely quickly. They have yet to have absolutely any pilling and also have not shrunk or stretched. Also I have a cat that is very active and also sleeps with me who enjoys kneading on my bed and I haven’t even noticed any signs of wear what so ever to the eye or to the feel. I highly recommend these sheets. I still have yet to even open the second set I purchased!

Very disappointed in these sheets as they came highly recommended. They do not stay in place. The elastic is too loose and I end up readjusting them every morning.
