Replace only the damaged connectors instead of the entire fuel line with these direct-replacement fuel line connectors. Designed for easy installation and a precise fit, they are engineered to withstand extreme underhood conditions.

Review: A simple fuel line connector that works real well! - These connectors work great, but getting the nylon fuel line fully attached can take a lot of work. Lot's of YT videos on how to heat the nylon fuel line to attach to the fuel line fitting using a heat gun, but be careful not to get the heat TOO hot or the nylon line will bubble, around 400 degrees is about right. Move the heat gun around the entire diameter of the tubing. As soon as it's pliable enough, force the tubing onto the Dorman fuel line fitting. Maybe place the connector against a hard surface such as a table first. If it doesn't go past the 3rd rib on the connector, heat it up some more, keep it going on as straight as possible, and be patient. I replaced a fuel pump on a 98 Ford Explorer, and this Dorman fuel line connector ended up getting the job done, and the best part, NO LEAKS!!!

Soon as installed, it leaked at both ends, where the manufacturer used fittings with the wrong size barbs. I was in a hurry, so ordered these from desertcart, while waiting for them to resolve the problem. I warmed up the ends of the nylon line just enough to make it warm, but not too hot and flexible, put a little grease on the barbs, and just jammed them in by hand, no clamps as recommended to not use. They have now been installed and driven several weeks to work, with no problems. Everything is dry, no leaks.

A: No, they will not lock onto a straight section of steel line if it does not have a flare.

You can add the necessary flare to steel tubing with a hydraulic flaring kit like Mastercool 72475.

**Q: Dodge Ram 2007 1500 will this fit?**
A: Of course it will fit, just be sure to know the size of fuel line. 3/8" or5/16"  an get the kit w/ plastic fuel line an special clamps! You can do it, they have straight through connecters as well.

These connectors work great, but getting the nylon fuel line fully attached can take a lot of work. Used this to fix the fuel tank side of the fuel line on my 2010 Canyon. Softened the line with a heat gun, yanked off the old fitting, and shoved the new one on. Took much less time/effort than expected and has not leaked.
