There's nothing not to like about this speaker. I looks great and most importantly, it sounds great. This is a great alternative to the $300 speakers one would find from Bose or Jawbone or Beats. In my opinion virtually indistinguishable in sound quality from these more expensive units. This was easy to set up for an iPod touch, it's remotely controllable. Nothing to not like here. Recommended

I had this speaker for about 2 and a half years. Worked fine until recently where it just shut off and never turned back on. Slightly dissapointed.

The look is what I love. However the sound quality is equal to the sound quality of a Bose speaker.

Ordered 2 of these at the same time based on good reviews. Hah! Owned LESS THAN ONE YEAR (8 months) and one of them unexpectedly shut off and won't power back on. I see from reading that other have the same problem. And honestly, the sound quality degraded rapidly every time I used it and it was sounding fuzzy. Brookstone won't honor the 1 year warranty because "Amazon fulfilled the order." My Amazon order says "sold by Brookstone" and since it has been 8 months, there is no return or repair option. (Now, I will just wait for the 2nd one to die.) Don't buy this. Go to Best Buy and sample all of the speakers there and then shop around for the best price on the one you like.

I bought one several years ago at Brookstone. Syncing the speaker is a hassle. It takes about a minute. The buttons don't always make the right connection, so I end up having to try twice and then wait like 10 seconds until it is in sync mode. Then you find it on your device and connect. If you want to use it with a different device, you have to sync it again - each time when you are changing the device: syncing instead of just connecting. So I ended up using it only with my computer and not with my phone. Left it plugged in in my bathroom which is just 12 feet from my bedroom. Even with an open door, the connection would regularly break up, so that I would have to place the laptop right next to the speaker in the bathroom. Last week, the speaker stopped working with my computer but does work with my phone. I'm now looking to buy a new one.

I could not get it to pair up with my iPod. When you press and hold the power button like the instructions say, it beeps after about 2 seconds. I kept releasing the power button then and it would not pair up. You have to hold the power button down longer, past the beep. Then it paired up no problem. Sounds good and plenty loud for what it is.

Was at a mall store where they had it set up next to several name brand boxes. The blue box in my opinion beat them all in cost for the quality of sound. Went home and found a little better deal on amazon (saved the sales tax).
