Way too short and they barely fit around the back of my head so not enough of the strap to slide onto glasses frame securely. Look for something different. **Q: For size, what is difference one size or 1pack** A: It means ..chum comes in one size...one to a pack...that's how mine came... **Q: Can a strap be fed all the way through the retainer?** A: Good question! Sorry it's been ignored. No, closed-cell foam fills the center portion so you can't (easily) thread a cord through for different attachment options. You can buy closed-cell foam insulation (for refrigerator tubing) with a narrow inside diameter and no longitudinal slit through which you can easily thread any cord with any terminal hardware, whatever works best for you. A bit of that will float far more mass than these neoprene retainers.
