Review: Has lasted 2 years without issues - happy with this purchase - Decided to wait a while to do this review so I can address durability. I have now had this trash can for about 2 years and am very happy with it. Other reviews mention that the lift mechanism breaks easily causing the lid to slam down or not close 100%. I have had zero issues with my can...still works and looks like new. As far as cleaning the exterior, I just wipe it with anti-bacterial wipes and dry with a papertowel. No problems there. The inside of the lid is rusting but I spray the interior with Lysol when I change the bag so this is the likely cause. RE: closing issues, you have to buy the correct size bag to avoid bunching and also tuck the bag in away from the closing mechanism when putting the inner can in place. But do those things and it works like a charm.

Decided to wait a while to do this review so I can address durability. I have now had this trash can for about 2 years and am very happy with it. Other reviews mention that the lift mechanism breaks easily causing the lid to slam down or not close 100%. I have had zero issues with my can...still works and looks like new. 10/10 highly recommend- fabulous step feature helps to eliminate the nastiness of having to actually touch the top lid of a trash can in order to open it and works as it should- seamlessly and effortlessly with a soft close feature and eye catching design that allows the trash can to be set out in an area that you’d otherwise cringe to look at a trash can.
