**Q: Why isn't this working with my macbook pro (13-inch, 2016, two thunderbolt 3 ports)?**
A: I found that this does not work with my macbook pro. I can not explain why, but it shuts off my wifi when I use it. Other reviews say the same thing. I have worked in computer networking for many years so this isn't a user fault. Return the item and get something better quality

Cracking little device used it to connect my tablet to tv in a hotel room (via HDMI cable) and worked perfectly with no additional set up. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not bad for the price, can be a bit fiddly to connect.

Can be a bit temperamental to get the monitor and laptop to communicate, but after some cable wiggling unplug port, replug port, with monitor off and on, eventually the laptop will detect the input (just requires a bit of patience). Once it's connected it is fine not had any issues and it gets some pretty heavy use 8 hours a day, 3 days of the working week. No detectable lag of any kind experienced.
