**Q: What type of mantis is this?**
A: It is Tenodera Sinensis, the Chinese praying mantis. It is a very common species in the US, but also considered invasive in certain areas. I would advise doing researching before purchasing.

**Q: So i have to hatch them ? I cant store them for later**
A: Yes, you can actually store them for later by popping them into your fridge. The cold environment will "trick" the baby mantids into thinking it's still winter, and not yet time for them to hatch. They will only do so when it is warm out.

**Q: what kind of set up can you do indoors to observe them? paper cup was mentioned but what about a covering? and do we need to give them food??**
A: Once they hatch they need water on a sponge, and also need food quickly or they will eat each other...   I just checked the bag every morning and at night to see when they hatched.   Don't let them go in the outdoors, they can mess up your natural ecology.   They eat beneficial bugs and bad bugs alike.

**Q: How long can i have them on freeze?**
A: Do NOT Freeze the egg cases.
