Doesn't last
Have had this system for 4 years now. The media doesn't last for 2 years stated. Two adults in one child. The medium lasts on slightly over a year and then the shower heads start accumulating. We're on city water with minimal iron and minerals. When you consider how long this lasts with a minimal flow, it becomes a very expensive solution and not economical. If you have very hard water, I would suspect it would be even more expensive.
