Traditional taste
Taragui is my favorite brand on yerba. I grew up seeing my mother buy and drink this all the time. Great flavor and for anyone new to Yerba mate in this form, “con palo” is the way to go. You’ll get a lot less sediment coming through your bombilla (filter straw) “con palo” as opposed to “sin palo”. 10/10 recommend

great price, authentic and fresh
This is the yerba mate I encountered most frequently in homes and grocery stores in southern Chile, and I tend to trust my friends' quality and taste standards. This Taragui yerba mate does not disappoint. I'm glad I ordered the large 2.2-lb (kilo) bag because preparing it instantly transports me back to South America as well as being delicious and caffeinated. This is a product of Argentina, and it has the typical ratios of dust, leaves, and stems.

Great value, but a little dusty
Much better price than some other competing brands. My only issue is that the yerba mate seems a bit too dusty and fine, which means once your pour hot water over it, the finer particles clog your straw, making it hard to drink. Overall, I would buy this again because the flavor is good and the price is very competitive. Plus, you get the best looks from your friends when you tell them you bought a kilo of something from South America...

Good yerba--I'll likely order again.
I had been ordering the Rosamonte for the last few times and decided to give this one a try. Glad I did...It's great. Good flavor--takes me right back to when I lived in Buenos Aires years ago.

Favorite loose leaf Yerba Mate I have tried yet
Though my favorite Yerba Mate ever is the Guayaki Pure Empower Mint Mate Tea Blend, this is a close second. Guayaki is way over priced and I cannot compare Guayaki's traditional Mate with Taragui Mate since I have yet to try Guayaki's traditional flavor. I have however tried other loose leaf Mate brands such as the popular Rosemonte and consider Taragui to be far superior. Great strong flavor and not as much "powder or dust" as what is provided by the other companies. I now have a coffee maker strictly used for this Yerba Mate and it works perfectly for me. Very good product, will recommend to others.
