Great protection in the field and in the gun safe
Butler Creek caps are great. I have them one of my rifles for 33 years. I put them on and haven't fussed with them since and that is a rile I've dragged to Alaska for Moose, Montana for Elk, Canada for Caribou and is my prime deer hunting rifle every year. However, Leupold started threading the inside of they're scope bells to allow fitment of they're own proprietary caps (screw in and magnetic), so I've not had the need to buy another pair of Butler Creek caps until recently. I mounted an old Leupold (I've owned for years, but never mounted) on a new rifle. I bought these caps (this one for the objective and a thumb operated one for the eye piece) to protect the lenses. They fit like a glove and open with the flick of a finger. They seal out the moisture and dust, which keeps your scope clear when in the field. Note I used the size chart and since my dimensions didn't fall exactly on an available size, I order the next size down.

Well-Built, Easy to Use, and Highly Functional
This flip scoop cover fits my flashlight perfectly and adds a solid layer of protection. The flip-up mechanism is smooth and stays in place when open or closed, making it super convenient during use. It’s built tough and doesn’t feel flimsy at all—great for outdoor, tactical, or duty use. Installation was quick, and it hasn’t loosened after repeated use. Excellent accessory that adds both function and durability. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their flashlight setup.

Functional and somewhat flimsy... plus an important consideration
OBJECTIVE COVER: Does what it is supposed to do. I will visit this review in a year and review it again to see if it holds up ok. The cover seems to me to feel a little cheap especially installed on my $700.00 scope. But I have to say it works. I have only one issue with these type of covers. If the zoom or parallex adjustment is on the outer bell, as you turn the bell, the mounted cover will rotate to an odd position and may even hit the barrel halting the adjustment. A scope with a side parallax adjustment doesn't have this problem. Note that side parallax adjustment usually comes on scopes starting around $250.00 or more. In conclusion, the covers seem to work BEST on the expensive tactical scopes with side focus knobs or FIXED POWER scopes. The Butler Creek covers seem to have interference issues on the cheaper scopes where an adjustment is on the outer bell... opposite of how you would think it would be. EYEPIECE COVER: The eyepiece cover generally works ok once you setup the eyepiece focus adjustment before you put the cover on so there will be minimum rotation if any. I bought these covers for all my scopes so I will deal with the noted shortcommings. Hope this information helps.

A Nice piece of equipment
The size chart is a bit difficult to get your measurements right. Product is as described

Perfect Fit for Arken SH-4J Gen II 6-24x50
Size 19 for the eye piece, and size 43 for the objective. The 19 slides on nicely. The 43 is very snug and takes a little effort, but it’s not going anywhere. You’re welcome.

Sehr gut.

Cheap investment for hunting, pays dividends.
Excellent for stalking. If anyone has stalked prey, they know that when you walk 6 miles through a bog in the fog/rain and your animal pops up just out of the tree line and you raise your rifle for the shot and can't see anything because of a wet/fogged up scope, $20 bucks could have just saved your $4000.00 hunting trip. Worth the buy, easy to use! Tips: Ordering online is a bugger to find the correct size for your scope. I used a caliber and found the exact size, ordered the size range but my scope was on the upper limit of the size range and the cover was too tight. IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF THE SIZE ORDER THE NEXT LARGER SIZE UP. It's better to be a little loose than too small. You can fix this with 1-2 wraps of electrical tape around the bell of the scope. I used a

Snaps shut just as easily. Keeps lens dry and protected
Fits scope perfectly, flips up from either side with simple thumb press. Snaps shut just as easily. Keeps lens dry and protected. Seems sturdy / durable. Many shooters at my Field Target air rifle club also use this make of scope cover on a variety of different scopes. I'd buy another if ever needed.
