JUNK
Where to begin. Totally rusted. Does not seal, so water sprays everywhere. Its wobbly and not sturdy at all. A complete waste of money. Total JUNK. Avoid.

Thought I would like it and I do.
Assembled quite well. The hardware bag had split open but all the small parts and pieces were still there. I have just started using it but find that it will hold all my hose. The crank is quite comfortable when reeling in the hose and makes it easy. The solid drum was a good selling feature since the first coils of hose did not kink or flatten out over the open bars offered by other products. Had to call customer service for a leaking o-ring and they couldn't have been more help. Are sending out a replacement part right away. Update a few months later: The reviewer on another site was right about the tubeless tires. One of mine has a leak and won't hold air. I will call customer service and I expect they will send out a new tire since I am within warranty. I really don't need the tire since I only move the reel twice a year, once at the beginning of winter and once at the beginning of spring.

It was easy for me to assemble
It came with one flat tire that needed a new tube to repair. Since then two more tires went flat. In less than five months outside it is covered in surface rust. Otherwise it does the job. It was easy for me to assemble. The price was good. If I had it to do over I would spend more for a different hose cart hoping for better quality. Update after one year: I have had all 4 tires go flat. I replaced all four inner tubes at an additional cost of $30. Now except for the rust it is working OK.

Okay, but there are better ones out there.
I had to send away for a replacement part because it leaked like crazy at first. It still leaks a little, but seems to self-regulate after a little while. The connecting tube is not really designed properly.

Superior hose cart
I've had other carts before. This is far superior. With the round drum in the center rather than spokes, the hose does not get bent or creased. The winding mechanism is very smooth. I'll see over time how it weathers.

Rusty after a year
Worked fine when assembled. After a year the hardware is completely rusty. My suggestion is to replace all the screws and bolts with stainless right from the start. The hose connection is also pretty rust now after a year, and I'm not sure what I'll do about that. I'm pretty certain it's impossible to buy a good hose reel from anybody. I thought this would be quality, but it's not. Oh yeah a tire is flat and cracked already too and it doesn't hold air....

it's a good hose cart
this is the second one I've purchased. Two homes two carts. I like it and it's very functional. Only issue is that I have to repaint it more often than I thought I'd have to. the surface rusts and paint peels quicker than I expected (< 2 years on the first one). That said if you maintain it, it does a great job.
