Great for long thick hair
Love these big Roller Pins! My daughter is a ballerina & has a ton of long hair. These are the only pins that are able to hold her hair in a ballet bun for the whole hour & a half class (of lots & lots of turns & jumps). They last forever, as long as you don't lose them in your dance bag.

Not the same as they used to be
I keep looking for the strong, sturdy old fashioned big brown bobby pins for putting hair up. These looked the same, but when you try to use them, you can't do it with one hand very well because they're too thin. It flips over itself. The old ones made it very easy to hold your hair up with one hand, and open the bobby pin using your other hand (and usually teeth). Still looking for the old style pins.

A must for long hair
I have waist length hair. Those small Bobby pins are for the birds. I’ve been using roller pins for about 20 years and absolutely love them. They give a much more sturdy and secure updo. I also find that they hold up well and don’t stretch out. They are all that I use.
