It was not until the watch winder was delivered and tried that I discovered that it does not wind-up the watch, merely keeps it at a steady state. Thus the reason for three stars. Presentation in a leather style box, with clear window display of the watch face inside, cannot be faulted. If the requirement is to maintain a steady state in a ‘dress’ watch worn occasionally this winder will meet requirements but it is not the top-up winder I was seeking for a single watch in continuous use. Thankfully, it was a simple process to return the winder to Amazon with full refund. (Although I wished to keep my Kinetic watch, for sentimental reasons, the only solution to my problem was to buy a new watch!) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It does do what it says it does. *by M***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 June 2020* Having used this to keep my automatic watch (used for work Monday to Friday) working over the weekend I put the watch in on Friday night and it was still working and to the right time when I put it back on to wear 1st thing Monday morning. The motor is that quiet that I wasn't even sure if it was working. The only thing that slightly disappoints me is that the guarantee is only valid for 30 days. Which is no good if you want to keep your watch in a safe.Works well on mains.
