If your screw is already striped it does help but not as much as paying attention to the condition of you tools and hardware in the 1st place.... Review: Product did not work for me - I had ordered this product to assist me with removing a screw with a stripped head. This product did not work as was described in the product details. I applied the solution from the bottle to the imbedded screw head but I could not extract the screw. It was as if the liquid compound did not "bind" so that the screwdriver could turn the screw head. Tried it several times...waited up to 30 minutes thinking the solution needed to "set" before trying to twist the screw.
