They are visually appealing and will not fall apart easily on you. As I had hoped to allow my older daughter to wear them for a prop, I was a little disappointed to see they were so big. I tightened the band on them using a hair tie to twist off the excess length. I would not purchase these for a young teen or child. Even on myself as an adult they were quite loose.
