And how do you use it? I'm used to a nozzle that clamps onto the tire stem. These don't attach.** A: if you have nothing that seems to thread onto,or attach to the valve stem,you may have to remove the end and put on a quick coupler,available wherever airline accessories are found,then you can plug in a common air chuck,or other accessories of your choice.both my 150 psi compressor,and my cousin's 100 psi compressor have an end on the yellow coiled airline that screws directly into the wheel valve stem,so I don't really know what's up with yours.what does the outlet on the end of your airline look like? **Q: How loud is this compressor?** A: it has an acceptable noise level.it is not as noisy as the cheap plastic compressors with the tiny high speed motors that make the plastic housing resonate.my cousin in Arizona has one and he is really pleased with his,and he wants to buy one for each of his vehicles.i have the bigger,more costly version that is rated at 150 p.s.i.it too,is a good compressor,and fills tires in pretty good time. **Q: What is the type of connector is at the end of the handle to the hose ? Mine is not a standard air hose connector, what is this type called ?** A: The one I have simply screws on the valve stem **Q: Where can one get a replacement hose for this?** A: I replaced my broken hose by purchasing harbor F item #57051 ~ $15. Remove original female coupler from old hose. Cut one end off of new replacement 1/4" hose. Use original locking nut to secure new hose to old coupler. I used a heat gun to soften the hose to slip onto the barb easier. Does NOT come with an air-hose, but has the standard 1/4" quick-connector, and the cord is not long enough to reach from your cigarette lighter outlet in your vehicle to the tires on your vehicle, but this can be overcome by using a longer air-hose. I bought this one after I was making a trip from Chicago back to Minnesota. I developed an air leak in my front and back, LH side tires due to nail punctures. I pulled over every 50 - 100 miles or so to top them off until I got to my hometown tire shop. Each of my vehicles has this pump in the trunk which I advise everyone to do.
