I struck gold on this discovery. I bought it thinking what have I got to lose but some time and $$, still less $$ than I spend when I go to the salon. I was desperate as I have a party to go and didn’t have time to make my appointment. I have stubborn hair on the inside of the bridge of my nose that would even take the stylist several times to clear it all out. Well, I used this stuff and I had to do my left nostril 4 times and my right nostril 2 times, but I did this with just using two of the safetip applicators (the company provides you with 8 of these in the box). I did not throw them away after each rip session. Instead, I put it in the freezer to harden the wax with hair and then I went on my patio and chipped away the wax and hair after it was frozen with a small knife. After that, I placed the applicators in a small cup of hot water from the microwave to loosen the wax and wipe off with a paper towel. I also used a pipe cleaner to remove all the wax away from the base of the collar on the tip. Presto! Nice and clean and ready for reuse. The company does not want you to do this. I guess because of liability issues etc. Who knows how someone could harm themselves with hot wax and knives? I don’t blame them. Product liability lawsuits are real issues folks. I would waste a lot of wax if I didn’t do this. Just follow the instructions, which are inside the facial hair protector (the mustache looking decals). It took me a while to find them as I was looking on the outside of the box for the instructions. They recommend that you heat a full jar of wax for 2 minutes on a 1000-WATT microwave oven. My microwave is only 900 watts so I had to heat for 3 minutes. If you don’t have a microwave don’t buy this, as there will be no way for you to heat the wax. There is a lot of wax in the container and I will not waste it, every bit of it will be used on ripping those ugly and unsightly nose hairs from my nostrils. Be sure and stir the wax after microwaving with the wooden spatulas they provide you or just use popsicle sticks. They have a great YouTube video that shows you how on to do this on their website. Tip 1) For the hard to get area in the crevice of your nostril, put your finger or Q-Tip in the opposite nostril and press against the wax coated safetip applicator as you wait for the time period to end. Tip 2) I found that using less wax helps too, just coat the SafeTip applicator ball with less wax. Tip 3) I use a Q-Tip coated with neosporin to sooth my nostril after I rip the wax from the nostril. Thanks** A: Yes and my husband is amazed it doesn't hurt one bit.....nose or ears. Works very well, very easy to use, no big mess. **Q: How many applications** A: You can easily reuse the applicators by just reheating them (I used about 3 1/2 minutes) and then using a paper towel to remove the wax/hair stuff (took only a few seconds). It worked just fine for me. **Q: How do you clean the wax off the applicators (white sticks) after use?** A: Lacquer thinner will clean the wax off without damaging the applicators. Put them in a jar with a lid, pour in the lacquer thinner, then put the lid on, to help keep the lacquer thinner from evaporating. I typically let them soak for a day, just to ensure that there's no residue left on them. Then dump them out and let them dry. **Q: Is there a minimum period i should wait between waxes** A: I'd wait at least a month. That's around the given time period for the hairs to grow back in general (genetics and potentially male/female hair growth periods aside). If you feel super embarrassed, you could go for every 3 weeks (preferably not but it wont kill you). Keep in mind, doing this too often could increase the risk of ingrown hairs.... which hurt like heck. The hairs need to be a certain length for the wax to "grip" well (luckily this is very small) so you could use a trimmer between wax period also... then when the month period is coming up stop til they grow up. Finally, over use of waxing (potentially even your first time) increases risk of infections so be sure to clean the area well with anti bacterial wipes (probably the ones provided with the kit) once you do each waxing. They have a customer for life from me! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can't believe I'm reviewing nose wax, but yes this is a good product *by D***P on June 27, 2018* I have a lot of reviews on this site for a lot of products...I feel very strange doing one for a nose wax cleaner, but here we go. Summary: 5 stars. Does what it says, has enough for several rounds, very low pain. On the product itself, the instructions are a bit spotty. They are not written particularly well, however there are dozens of youtube videos on using the product. All of them will be better than the instructions. That aside, heating the wax was fairly challenging. Oddly, the top part of the wax container is softer plastic than the core of the wax cup. When I used the small wooden stick to stir and then tapped it on the edge, it melted, which was surprising. Using it for removal is just as easy as explained (and shown in videos) - dip, pull a bit, and stick it in. I waited about 70 seconds and then yanked. The first one hurt a bit, not going to lie. It was about as painful as a single hair pull, or possibly less. My second attempt went poorly and, after cleaning out a lot of wax, a third round went well. And here's where I get to the point why I'm doing the review. I can breathe much better now. I saw a bunch of hair come out, on one a lot more than I thought, but not as much as I would think I'd need for the difference in breathing. It's really amazing. I don't understand why, but breathing via my nose is so much better. I could tell that after the first one. A few videos I saw mentioned this, but you have to feel it to really understand.
