Gallagher electric fence voltage tester
I’ve haven’t used this one yet but have had another of the same model for years. Works flawlessly, makes sure my fences are putting out enough voltage to keep my cattle where they belong. Wouldn’t be without it. It is truly a must have for anyone who runs a lot of electric fence like I do .

NOT a fault-finding model
This is not a fault-finding tester as advertised, but strictly a voltmeter. It lacks the amp meter functionality that allows you to determine location of faults. Also, as something that could be improved, the display is LCD vs. LED, so it is useless in low-light-level situations.

Super Convenient
I have 2 sites on my property with electric fences. This meter lets me know if the fence is hot at the furthest point from the box AND I have learned that the readings tell me when something has fallen or grown against the hot wire. Save lots of time checking fences. Smart buy on my part.
