Review: The drawstring is the key component here. - Use these over a bluetooth mic mounted under a motorcycle tail section. The drawstring is the key component here keeping the mic from accidentally falling off (the mic is magnetically attached to the mount) and giving access to the mic when I need it. I use a trimmed foam mic cover inside the cat as well. Wind buffeting is virtually eliminated. Holds up OK getting slightly wet but I consider this item a disposable anyway.

Use these over a bluetooth mic mounted under a motorcycle tail section. The drawstring is the key component here keeping the mic from accidentally falling off (the mic is magnetically attached to the mount) and giving access to the mic when I need it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Definitely an improvement over filming without it

This dead cat does a credible job of reducing the plosives generated by wind hitting an iPhone microphone. It doesn't eliminate wind noise, of course, but muffles it and, in my tests, does diminish those aggravating buffeting sounds. I'm a professional videographer with professional gear but on certain occasions I do use my iPhone 15 Pro for a couple of shots. This makes post production of iPhone video a bit easier.
