Rocky **Q: is this a two piece contruction or a one piece housing?** A: This is a 2 piece construction and it comes with a wide mouth piece or you make it a small mouth with out the extra wide mouth piece. It comes with both size gaskets. I would however recommend finding stainless steel screws. And prescrewing all the holes before installation to make it easier once it's in the pool. Also install the adapater before you cut a hole in your pool of its the intex type pool. Then just cut it out once it is installed **Q: can you give measurements on skimmer size so I can measure to see if it will fix my intex 15 foot pool** A: This skimmer should fit any standard opening. I can not get to the inside flange because my pool is closed but from the outside the external flange is 7.0" X 7.5" (high x wide). The internal opening is roughly 5 1/2" x 6" **Q: Dose it come with skimmer basket and vacuum seat** A: Hi yes the basket and housing is an integral part of the body. I don't know ehat the vacuum seat is exactly but the bottom of the housing reduces to s threaded pipe adapter. The screw instructions were a little weird but it’s installed no issues no leaks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product....use different screws *by K***S on July 16, 2019* After spending 5 hours trying to get the screws to go all the way in, I do not understand the reviews that say they just "screwed it on" like it was easy. The holes the screws went in on the skimmer were not a match or not threaded. I used so much energy trying to get the screws tight enough to keep our pool from leaking that I was sore a few days after. My husband tried too and the screws did not go in far enough to tighten the plastic square around the gasket to keep it from leaking. We had many screws get stripped before we could get them tightened enough. The other difficult thing was the screws they sent were flat, so trying to screw a flat end through a tight plastic liner was awful. I got so worried I had ruined our pool until my husband suggested we try different screws. He made a trip to the hardware store and got some that were the same thickness, better material, and had points on them. See picture. We replaced all the screws we received and they tightened much better and stopped the leaks. Thank goodness! If the manufacturer of this can improve the screws that come with it, this product would be so much better. The skimmer is great and comes with a lot of attachments and does work. It was a good value too.
