I used it just as a 1 man tent; it had plenty of storage space for my clothes/kit. I feel that it would easily sleep 2 people just not for the length of time that I was camping as I had too much kit. You could easily do a weekend away with two people and have space for kit. The porch areas allowed me to store my shoes in the front and empty bags in the back. This back porch could be used to store bags/kit if you had two people. I am only small (5"1) so the lack of height wasn't really an issue but I feel that is you were much taller getting dressed could be an issue.The tent itself is a little heavy - I wouldn't want to carry it hiking.
