## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this the part that attaches to the window? I have several windows that "flap" in the wind due to the part breaking.**
A: The parts in the pack would not fix the problem you described as flapping in the wind. It sounds like you may need a part called an "operator" like the Andersen Split Arm Operator (Left Hand) in Stone Color (1982-1995) - 1361316. Make sure you get the proper color, make, left hard or right hand operator, and model for your windows. The description and pictures make this easier than it sounds.

**Q: I don't know when our window was installed. i have one room with window number 8470 and another room with window number c1283m. will these work?**
A: I would say so..... as long as they look like yours!
I bought them for 1995+ casement windows and are much sturdier than lens that came with the windows!
Hope this helps!
Jules

**Q: Can these be used instead of andersen part 1521027 ? i only need the operator cover and handle. thanks**
A: I don’t know the model number of my Andersen crank mechanism. The handle fit but I had to file the cover slightly in 2 places to get it to fit over the mechanism. But it does work and fit well now.

**Q: Will these fit a anderson crank out window part number cw155r**
A: Good question. Yes, it will fit that size casement window but... Only from 1999 to present. Contact us direct if you need help deciphering code etched in glass for date.
