Awesome book.
Older book but still very informative.

I'm a fan of Ardunio, and interested in robots, so what's not to like about this book? If you haven't heard of Ardunio, it's an open source hardware/software embedded platform, basically. Since the hardware isn't patented, and teh software is free, anyone can afford to play with it. I've been an embedded programmer for most of my career, and this is the first time I could afford to play with an embedded system at home. So, with Ardunio you can buy a $50 embedded system, get the software free, and use this book to see how to take advantage of them to do some really neat things.

Good Starter book and easy to read instructions
The book is well written technically. It has remarks and explanations of the steps in the programming sketches that are in depth and not too technical for the inexperienced. I would recommend it as a good learning tool and introduction for Arduino's.

Great book with plenty of interesting projects. Lots of detail. Could however get dated fairly quickly due to specific links etc.

Bought for a student to use as a learning guide for exploring Arduino on his own at home. Parts are easy enough to find.

This book isn't new, nor good condition
I was really looking forward to this book. To open it and it was nasty and trashed really upset me. I am returning it asap.

Livre très complet pour les débutants / avertis
Livre en anglais très bien fait (comme tous les livres de l'éditeur Make: ) parfait pour les débutants et personnes averties voulant progresser dans la programmation de cette fabuleuse carte qu'est arduino. Une intro sur les outils nécessaires, la philosophie (récup de pièces ...) et les bases de fonctionnement d'arduino ; ensuite 6 exemples de projets (alarme de proximité, insecte robot, peinture interactive, boxing clock, télécommande de prises élec avec un smartphone (android) et un robot footballeur ). Que du bon, je le conseille vivement !

Good for all people even if you don't do robots. easy to follow and good idears. It is also a good teaching tool, you will find it in most rc projects like DRONES. A good book to have.

Empfehlenswert.
Sehr gut verständliches Englisch, die Projekte sind gut nachzuvollziehen. An der einen oder anderen Stelle wäre ein anderes Bild noch hilfreicher gewesen, aber man soll ja auch noch selbst denken.

Excelente Getting Started al mundo del Arduino
Es un libro muy útil muy practico, muchas veces es exactamente es lo que buscamos los técnicos modernos: Ejemplos Prácticos. Muy Útil con lo cual espero comprar mas Libros del Editorial, una vez termine este.
