Got as "Insurance" with 2nd floor laundry
Looking for a way to protect my house with a second floor laundry. Product came and was pretty easy to install, gad to get some additional fittings due to the location. I am counting on this working as advertised. Tye instructions left a lot to be desired.

Pain
Took several tries to get this installed. The valves keeps leaking. I finally got it installed and it wored well for about a year. Sensor failed after a year. Valves failed shortly after. I could not find parts to just replace the failed parts. Total waste of my money.

Piece of mind if water heater leaks
Valves work flawlessly and the battery backup gives you piece of mind in case of power loss

Good product not simplest to install
So the product is pretty well built. The servo/ball valves look to be high quality heavy construction. The wires to the sensors are very thin so I wouldn’t be too rough with them. The installation was kind of a pain. As most people have the hot/cold shutoff valves in my house are tucked inside the wall box. So there isn’t enough room in the box to just spin on the auto shutoff values (blue parts) so I had to find some female to male hose connectors that can be tightened without whole assembly needing to spin. So after all the connectors are on, the whole thing sticks out too far from the wall and is tight to back of the washing machine. So I wanted to just pull out the machine a few inches away from the back wall but it’s inside a leak pan that has no room to move. So in the end I had to Frankenstein up a bunch of connectors to bring the auto values above the height of my washing machine (no hiding the solution it’s there for all to see). I could have removed the pan since it’s probably no longer needed, but I figured belt and suspenders weren’t such a bad thing. If they had built the auto valves with spin on connectors that would have made this much easier and streamlined to install. I did test unit and it works well when exposed to water.

Works but is low quality product
Works generally well. One of the two sensors failed within 4 months of installation. Could not request a replacement from supplier. Unable to purchase a spare made for this leak detector.

Definitely a must for preventing floods from failed hoses.
Install was easy, but there wasn’t any detail to be sure that I had the device in the proper flow direction. It should have arrows pointing in direction of flow.

Product works, but not very well
This leak detector is advertised for washing machines, but the connections on the valves are pipe threads, and washers use garden hose threads. I asked the manuf for help with the connections, and never heard from them. I had to spend another $80 on brass fittings to adapt to the garden hose threads, and this required 6 connections for each valve for a total of 12 connections just to detect a leak. I used Teflon tape for all connections, but I ended up with 2 leaks. Disassembling, re-taping, and assembling did not help, and the leaks continued. This product is supposed to detect leaks, not make leaks. Even if I somehow managed to stop the leaks, I couldn't trust this to maintain good connections. There are just too many connections. This should have been made with the proper threads for the washer use. The plastic control case if small and the raised text explaining the use is not high lighted and very difficult to read. The wires used for alarm connections are a very small gauge, reminding me of the size used in crystal radio earphones. The alarm itself is not loud, and cannot be heard thru a closed door. I scrapped this idea and bought a Topvico water alarm sensor for the floor, available on Amazon, and works off a 9V battery. The prices for this is much lower and easier, but does not have auto shut off.

Valve bad will not open
I had my unit installed for about 2 1/2 years. Recently I need to work on my washer so I closed the valve and then one will not open. Trouble shoot the controller and cable and confirmed It is one valve gone bad. I can’t seem to find a way to buy replacement from their site. I had to remove Whole system so I can continue to use the washer.
