This RP oil filter is about 3/4 inch longer than the Motorcraft FL-400S and uses a 76mm/14-poimt cap wrench. I wrench-tightened the RP 3/4 of a turn after engine contact and did not get a leak, A lot of folks prefer to hand tighten only, but a 3/4 turn works for me. I'm using Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W30 with this filter. I put about 400 very short trip miles each year on my Tracer and change my oil pre/post winter driving.
