Good value battery to use in a device that does put a "high drain" on the battery. In some applications the carbon zinc batteries will last over 80% as long as an alkaline battery while costing maybe two thirds as much. In other applications the carbon zink batteries will last less than half as long as an alkaline battery and therefore not be a good value choice for that application. **Q: Does anyone know if these are the types of batteries that if you take them apart have a ton of AA batteries inside of them? Thanks!** A: They have 4 F size carbon zinc cells in them. A battery is made of multiple cells. A D cell 'battery' is not a battery, but a cell. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.sa/products/12847879-rayovac-heavy-duty-6v-battery-spring-terminal](https://www.desertcart.com.sa/products/12847879-rayovac-heavy-duty-6v-battery-spring-terminal) --- *Product available on Desertcart Saudi Arabia* *Store origin: SA* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
