Does it come w/the normal 103-key layout or the so-called 105-key "international" layout?

I received mine today, and it was the 105-key international layout. :(I don't know yet what I'm going to do: I grew up in Europe, hence I am used to the international layout, but I don't want to switch back and forth between the keyboard at home and office...PS: FYI, I noticed yesterday that Costco has this keyboard INCLUDING a mouse (M705?) for sale for $59.99 (after $20 rebate). That was the "MK750" model.

As Larry said, it's not. However, the Logitech K800 keyboard is backlit and is pretty similar. I own the K800 at home and use this K750 (Solar) keyboard at work. Personally I think that the K750 is much more comfortable to type on, but the K800 is still a nice keyboard. If you require a backlit one then perhaps you should look at the K800 instead.

There is an abundance of 1 star reviews lately addressing the fact that Amazon is sending the international version of this keyboard out. Fixed yet?

No, it's not fixed yet.I would advise ordering it directly from Amazon, not from a fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) seller. The FBA seller's inventories seem to be polluted with the 105 key international version. Find the seller listed as "Amazon.com" on http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B004MF11MU/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new and order from there. Might cost you a few dollars more, but should eliminate the risk of a lot of frustration.

Replaced ML2032 battery with a new one, but it still won't start up. Any ideas why?

Did you measure the voltage of your 2032 battery to see if it was charged at all? I think it comes with at least 3V and recharges up ~3.6V. I used my K750 for 5+ yrs before I had to replace its coin battery. And yes, there is a yellow sticker on the original battery that says not to replace the battery! But why should I throw away an otherwise perfectly fine keyboard???
