Well, at least I think so lol. They have 8 different light modes if you purchase the one that includes the lights. Some of the light modes include the standard on, fade, sparkle, different ones turn on, etc. You can also brighten or dim the lights. I'll try and remember to post an update a month in, so far I love them :DOh, and I also used scotch tape to put them where I wanted them to be (obviously there's an efficient way to do this --instead of tape). What's the worst that can happen? Don’t unpack and assembly near your bed or sitting space, has itchy fibers that fall off. If you have allergies to dust wear gloves and long sleeves. I broke out in hives. The vines to get very tangled so takes patience. The vines look pretty and the lights are good but it should come assembled. Takes hours to string the lights around the individual 12 vines.
