I bought the open front sweater (waist length) in a large and it fits perfectly! I have a love/hate relationship with Cielo sweaters because the sizing is so inconsistent. In pullovers they tend to be too short, and with button ups they’re too tight to wear anything under. Also, when I’ve tried to compensate by ordering an extra large, they’re way too big.
