This book is a very good reference and it is also something to consult during a project. I found it very informative and easy to read. When you are trying to understand the basics, this book is a great place to start.

I expected more but did have good coverage about electrical shorts.

All the steps the author spoke about were broken down to simple terms. There was almost no mention of voltage, amps, etc unnless it was a quick description of it whcih made learning this material much easier. All the images in the book helped as well to visualize what you will be looking for. I consider myself a decent troubleshooter when it comes to electronics, considering im able to read schematics for the most part, but this definately helped expand my knowledge on electrical shorts and how to fix them

Most of this was refresher for Me with my background in aviation but it was still a good read and I picked up a few things would be a great starting point for new electricians.

Good information, but pricey. This series could have been put in one book.

Well,it's actually really good material broken down to a base level that anyone can understand. I bought all of the books and it's gotten my eight year old interested in building circuits and using my meter too troubleshoot bugs that i build into them for him. So that's how well written and illustrated in lay terms that all of these books are,all good info,all easy to read and understand. Love it.

Explained simply with easy to understand pictures. Shows that you don’t necessarily need expensive multimeters and other equipment to fault find effectively. Excellent refresher.
