How long does it need to soak beforehand?

Hi there - We have complete growing instructions for this mix on our website. There are a couple of approaches you can take when planting this mix, and the specifics will depend on whether or not you decide to soak the seeds. I have 10x20 hydroponic trays. how many trays would i get out of the 1lb bag?

I plant seeds 3 times a week in about 4 6 X6 trays and I get about 4 months out of a bag. Hope that helps

how much in terms of weight can produce 1Lb of seed?

It depends on when you harvest. I use these as sprouts and get 30 times the volume. I don't know about weight though.
