Baby Jogger® Belly Bar for City Mini GT2 Single Stroller

It’s annoying that this doesn’t come with the stroller and I personally think this is overpriced, but I does and fits exactly as expected. It matches the same material as the push bar.

I wish these bars came with the purchase of a baby jogger stroller and I didn't have to pay an additional $50 for a bar but I'm glad I got it. It fits into the stroller perfect and my child enjoys holding on to it when we go on walks. I also feel an extra sense of security and safety having it there. Its easy to close the stroller as well. I've also attached a cup and snack holder to the bar which is perfect for outings.

Such a simple addition to make the stroller that much more user friendly. Also allows more versatility with using with carseats. Actually feels more stable to have my carseat hooked in via the belly bar than the adapters (Graco Snugride Snugfit)

The product is excellent—good quality and finish. I gave it only 4 stars, however, because this is an item that should be a standard feature of the stroller rather than an accessory; this makes the product significantly more expensive than its competitors!

So easy to use

Necessary to make the stroller easy for toddlers to snack in but they do not stay attached to the stroller. They are constantly popping out and needing to be put back in. NOT WORTH $50

Are you upset that there’s no snack trays for your beautiful Baby Jogger GT2 Double? Well this is a better (albeit pricier) solution—buy two belly bars (I bought mine in “like new” used condition and they were perfect) and get the flexible arm universal snack trays… this makes it so much easier to get them in and out of the stroller (the snack trays rest much closer to their belly). It’s also easier to carry the stroller by holding it by the belly bars.

Update 6/2020: We are expecting our second child and have a Chicco Keyfit 30. With the belly bar and seat lowered, the carseat rests snugly in the stroller. I'll add a simple clip strap to wrap around the seat and carseat for extra security but am glad this can be a lightweight travel system. Original review: Attaches easily. Sturdy. Cloth cover zips off for easy cleaning. As mentioned this can be used as a handle or over the shoulder to carry the stroller when folded. I bought it to attach a snack tray to (the Brica drink and snack pod) and it works great for that. If you buy from a certain store who offers 20% off coupons the price is a little better.

L'ho comprato perché quello del mio passeggino ancora nuovo si è rotto, strattonandolo per tirarlo su. Ci siamo rimasti malissimo, si tende a prenderlo da lì quando è chiuso ma non regge il peso del passeggino. Comunque il prodotto venduto qui è originale, giusto per passeggino singolo, spedizione veloce. Nulla da dire sul venditore!!

I am in Canada and this belly bar does fit the city Mini gt2 perfectly. I almost didn't purchase this because of other reviews so I felt I should make an update. This product is made for the stroller by baby jogger themselves.

Mixed reviews but I got this on a 40% off so thought I'd take the risk! It's perfect, feels sturdy and moves up and down to suit the baby just like the handlebars move to push. Easy to fit, makes my baby feel secure he holds onto it. Doesn't affect the fold away part and still goes small for my car. Push chair is a baby jogger mini gt2. Happy with this purchase.
