Good product.

I bought these lights for my kitchen to brighten the place up somewhat. The 4000 kelvin gives you a better feel in the kitchen than a 2700 warm white, but without any blueish tint... still remaining a bit yellowish. I like the look and appreciate their color accuracy which does tend to vary somewhat by manufacturer. Their brightness also appears to match the specifications, being significantly brighter than 60Watt equivalent and a 75 equivalent cree bulb. I bought a new fixture which has 4 bulbs and a diffuser and it works fantastic. Be aware however that most kitchen fixtures may not work so great with this bulb simply because so many of them are fully enclosed. That means, there is not enough heat dissipation possible which will fry the electronics. If the fixture is relatively large you might get away with it since there will be more surface area for heat to dissipate, but expect lessened lifespan. (which is fine as long as the life is reduced to months and not days...) The fixture I bought is semi-flush mount which is what you want. It doesn't hang down but 3 inches and leaves a 1 inch gap on the top for airflow. Another mistake would be to install these in bare-bulb fixtures like those awful "industrial pipe" looking lights you can find now days. Those are designed for multiple lower wattage bulbs to avoid excessive glare. So ensure your fixture has some kind of diffusion panel and is not straight glass or otherwise clear. So far all 4 lights that I have been using have performed great. Consistent color for all of them, no flicker or outages, though Ive only been using them for a month or so as of this review so I cannot attest to their longevity. Still, I highly recommend these based on what Ive seen so far.

All the light bulbs in my house are 4000K LED bulbs from Great Eagle. Every lamp and fixture in the house use the bulbs 40, 60, 75 and 100 watt equivalents. The house looks great with same color light great continuity. Bulbs are very well made, light weight and a perfect size. Highly recommend

We replace most of the lights in our house with these. If they're going in enclosures I noticed that they have a higher failures rate also if they're going to be installed in a bathroom that seems to affect their life. That didn't happen to all the lights we installed in enclosures and bathrooms but those are the only ones that have failed. I also note that the lights installed in enclosures, their plastic bases have yellowed and have small cracks.

I have 3 can lights on the other side of my kitchen which provide extremely bright light under which I often performed small outpatient surgeries (splinter removal). But their beam spread only extends so far. But, I've found myself struggling to see on the other side of the kitchen. I've tried using 5000K+ bulbs before but found their brightness/ coolness off-putting. I ended up replacing 3-840 lumens each, 2700 warm white bulbs in a centrally located overhead fixture in my kitchen with these bulbs. I was sceptical that the 4000k would provide a comfortable level, vs. the 5000k, but they do! Also, these are 1500 lumens each, which almost doubled the lumen output I had been using with a just right brightness level Bonus: No more squinting should save some face wrinkles, too! Lol I highly recommend.
