Review: Avevo letto mirabilie di questo fotografo, di cui questa pareva essere una delle opere pià significative. Probabilmente mi aspettavo qualcosa di diverso, o la mia cultura fotografica non è al suo livello, ma devo dire che non mi è piaciuto per nulla. Una visita nel mondo dell'hiphop che almeno a me non comunica nulla, foto (sicuramente in modo intenzionale) sempre sgranate, spesso fuori fuoco, confusionarie, che nonostante facciano un po' "il fenomeno", non raccontano mai una storia, non nel loro complesso, e tanto meno prese singolarmente. A fondo libro i provini con i titoli, dei ringraziamenti, il tutto che continua a non spiegare né a raccontare. La qualità dell'oggetto, nonostante la copertina rigida (arrivata peraltro molto segnata) e la buona qualità delle riproduzioni, fa abbastanza pena, perché la scelta (così frequente e altrettanto incomprensibile) di stampare sulle due pagine che non si aprono pià di tanto, rende sostanzialmente illeggibile ogni foto. Sconsigliato.
