​I've been using this foundation for 25 years now, and it's become a staple in my makeup routine. Living in South Florida's humidity, finding a foundation that holds up without feeling heavy is a challenge, but this one delivers. It offers buildable coverage that effectively controls shine throughout the day, which is essential for my oily skin. What I appreciate most is that it doesn't settle into fine lines or feel cakey, a common concern as my skin matures. The finish is smooth and natural-looking, providing a polished appearance without the need for constant touch-ups. Overall, it's a reliable choice for those seeking a foundation that withstands heat and humidity while catering to the needs of aging, oily skin.

I love MAC Powder Plus Foundation and have used it for many years. I can tell a fake a mile away and this is the REAL DEAL. At least mine was. MAC PPF goes on smoothly and blends right in covering just enough to even out your skin tone. I use a triangular cosmetic velvety puff instead of the sponge that comes with it and use it to buff a little as well for a more natural look. But you can use the sponge that came with it to get more coverage or a brush to get less. No matter which way you apply it, it will not disappoint. If you feel it looks powdery then you applied too much. Use a nice thick powder brush to buff and it will make a big difference. If it looks too dry then your skin needs more moisture. Use a good moisturizer and wait 10 minutes or so for it to absorb before using the MAC, lightly, maybe using a brush. Then, wait another 30 minutes to an hour or so after applying it and you will see a transformation. The MAC will look fresh and natural …you can speed that process up by using a setting spray lightly on your face if you prefer.

I have been using the product and I am very satisfied with the powder. I also like how the powder is displayed in the case, with the puff easily assessable under the powder. The mirror is great too. An excellent product.

This is the original MAC compact without the new formula changes and I was so happy to find it.

No great at all

Have used this MAC Studio Fix for years and love it! It gives full, nice coverage and doesn't dry out your skin. The disc sponge that it comes with makes a big difference in how well the product goes on. I have tried other sponges and don't like the way it applies. You can't find replacements for the sponges it comes with anymore through MAC or other retail outlets, frustrating!!! Hence only 4 stars.
