Magna Carta are one of Europe's most popular acoustic music groups, founded by singer, guitarist and composer Chris Simpson in 1969 when this debut album was first released on the Fontana label. Review: I owned the vinyl and now I have it on cd. In other peoples words Chris Simpson can do no wrong. And I don't even come from Yorkshire, although I have two son in laws that do. This is the first of the Magna Carta records, and as the years progress the sound changes not least because the line up changes. If you like Fairport Convention, Pentangle etc you will probably like this.
