A Really Good Post Apocalyptic Movie!
I suspect this is pretty much a sleeper of movie, but for me it's anything but! True my all time favorite PA movie is Book of Eli, followed by the Mad Max series with Road Warrior being the best of the four, but this movie, Scorched earth comes next. No, it's not a high budget movie, but it is still very well done. The actors are great in my book and Gina Carano is perfect in the lead, playing a very lovable bounty hunter in a PA world. The story line is also equally great, and well introduced and played out. This one has a bit of everything - cool costumes and lots of goggles and PA attire, Cars a la Mad Max, lots of action and if you like westerns, it's even got horses! So if Post Apocalypse is your thing, don't miss this one!

Western movie, slow plot

That Charger on the cover.
No idea how good this movie actually is but I'm rating it 5 stars because my car is in it (and on the cover too). Even if the movie isn't great - we're still going to have a fun time watching it because 1. it's post-apocalyptic and 2. we helped in our own little way to make it happen.

Nice try, but not good.
I really like Gina Carano, but this was a dud! The story line, the stunts, the action scenes were all bad. Sorry she took this gig, she can do a lot better.

No matter what, Gina is the sexiest badass in the world. I'll watch her in any role, she keeps getting better in every film. Please, miss, may I have another?

This is a B movie at best whatever you use that B for is up to you. things like Better not see it. or Better be aware of how much you pay for it. or Better dead than Alive..another environmental disaster movie with no moral codes. but I think its kind of lock an not too stocked full of no barrels, the only way to live in this environment is to have your charcoal filter ready and willingness to let you live. cause your breathing depends on it. This movie Scorched Earth” has its own disaster attach to it..its plagued with very bad dialogue guys that don’t know how to shoot I think I know where they work. I love Gina Carano but why did she agree to do this is beyond me. they even got John Hannah (Marvel Agents of S.H.I.L.D.) T.V. as a side kick. and he played a Doctor no doubt..that can really shoot his socks off.. She gets two stars the movie well? Make Sure You Breathe When Watching..

Interesting concept, if you like Gina Carano and I do it will interest you. But do not expect great performances. Post apocalyptic story which raises a couple of questions such as just from where they got gasoline or whatever they use in their cars? I could dissect it to bits, but simply not worth my time.
