Cuts better than my $450 Sam villas. On dry hair they push the hair if you close slowly, since they're made for slide cutting. If you close quickly, they still cut well on the dry hair. They handle big sections well! I absolutely love these and will be buying more. Might even buy as gifts for coworkers. I just hope they hold their edge, because I don't know a single shear sharpener that could make them this sharp again. I was going to post a video of them in action, but was too busy.
