I’ve just taught myself how to do my own gel nails during the pandemic lockdown, I bought a starter kit that included a lamp but I didn’t like the colour. I did what loads of people do and bought some cheaper gels and surprise surprise they were not great, my nails didn’t set, the gels was thick and gloopy and after 24 hours they’d crack or bubble, I almost gave up. A friend suggested I try CND and I’m so glad I did. I can’t tell you how much better this product is compared to the ones I’ve tried before - I’m sure proper nail technicians can give you the technical/professional run down but as a complete novice who is pretty much making it up as she’s going along - DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON CHEAP GELS I love everything about this one, the consistency is perfect for someone like me who doesn’t really know what they’re doing, and the colour is perfect! I have to do three layers but that’s fine, they don’t look thick and bumpy afterwards, this gel is kind to my unqualified under skilled hands!
