Review: MM should be labeled CM, but good mm scale otherwise. - Okay, I don't claim to be an expert in forensics or metric measurements but I would hate to have to explain to a hostile attorney in court why my scale say's MM on the CM line. In other words where it is labeled 1, 2 3, 4, and 5, it is really a CM scale. Each CM is divided into 10 mm with the indices below so if your item is measured to the 5, that means it is 5 Centimeters or 50 millimeters long, so this is a 5 CM scale that's labeled as if it were 5 MM. Where it is labeled MM it should be labeled CM and that is how the official AFBO No. 2 scale is labeled. So having stated my complaint, I still rated this a 5 for the price and the usability. As long as you know the difference between CM and MM and that this scale is about 80mm long in both directions it is fine to use. It doesn't matter to me because it works fine for my purposes and for my photo measurements but I don't go to court.
