When I was putting the legs on I was concerned because the set screw didn't seem like it did anything. Then I found this "" As other reviewers have noted, there is a "set screw" type mechanism that holds the leg VERY securely to the bracket. The "set screw" causes a portion of the bracket to "spread apart" thus tightening the bracket circumferentially against the leg."" You have to really crank the included wrench hard and tighten down as far as it will go and it locks up tight! ### ⭐ Wobbly after a short time; connections loosen up *by N***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 24, 2015* I couldn't be more disappointed. While they looked great and the leveler was attractive and easy to use...they are all wobbly within 3 days of installation. The issue is the way the leg attaches to the mounting bracket. A screw is fed through a hole in the side of the table leg, and it causes two pieces of metal inside the leg to spread out, putting tension on the outside of the leg, holding it in place. After 2 days, we noticed the tables were a little bit wobbly. We re-tightened the screws, assuming maybe there was some "settling" and didn't think it was a big deal. The extendable feet also work well and are buried into my carpet in my application, so you can barely see them.The really slick item in this well-packaged kit is the bracket.
